This water bear was waving at me to get my attention! Isn’t she the cutest?!

Water bears are tiny animals with ever tinier feet, they have little claws on each foot. And this one kept waving at me with the tiny claw-paw!

You can see one of her pitch-black eyes, there is another one on the other side of her head but it doesn't show on the clip. And all the round things you see inside her body are called the storage cells and, they mainly store fat and when the animals cannot find food or when their energy requirement increases, they use the stored energy and the storage cells shrink in size. Plus, these cells also act like immune cells and can consume bacteria that found a way into the animal’s body. Fascinating, isn’t it!?

I got some great news today! My book is already reprinting to meet the demand in the US, and the publisher is organizing a bunch of virtual book tours. I am so excited, June will be a busy month for me! Please click the link on my bio to pre-order your copy to support me.

Thank you so much for reading!
Best,
James Weiss
