This is a coconut crab (Birgus latro) - about half the size of its full potential.

At up to 9 lbs and over 3 ft wide from leg to leg, they're the largest of all land crustaceans on Earth.
Their pinchers are almost as strong as the bite of an adult lion. Able to crush a human skull.
They're natural born climbers, known for eating coconuts, other tropical fruits... and occasionally chickens, kittens, pigs, and other decaying animals.
